Genrich Altshuller (15 October, 1926–24 September, 1998) was a multi-faceted personality because he was a scientist, an engineer as well. In Russian Soviet he was an inventor, a journalist and a great writer as well. His achievement and imprisonment are two contrary points of his life. The main invention he had done is on TRIZ movement.  In 1970, peoples started inclined to it technically. He was the single intellectual leader that lectured on TRIZ for the books and articles that are published. Soon after the publication of the books, he became the only founder of the TRIZ movement with the government of Russian support for the association. He also made other members which are good thinkers and close friends of him. Most of the students are influenced by his talks to them and had become the major thinkers who contributed later on the TRIZ movement. For a very long period, he holds the position of the leadership in the TRIZ movement. The popular science magazine intervenes him for this achievement.
