Neil Arnott coloring page
Neil Arnott (1788-1874) was a popular Scottish physician.
He completed his graduation from the University of Aberdeen. At the age of nineteen, he was appointed as a full-time working surgeon. He provided his service to the British East India Company and made two voyages to China. Within a short period of time he became well known in his profession and was a founding member of the London University. In 1837, he became the personal physician to the queen and was elected as the Fellow of the Royal Society shortly.
Neil Arnott had a deep love and affection for Natural Philosophy. In 1832, he invented the waterbed. This was later used as a water-filled chair to treat seasickness. Arnott stove and Arnott ventilator are his two most promising inventions. 'Elements of Physics' was an important book by him. He published several other books on physical science and its application. Neil Arnott remained one of the greatest medical persons of his time.
