Parent Teacher Day
After midterm examinations our school organises Parent-Teacher Day. The parents of students arrive at school in their best dresses.
The teachers receive them warmly. The parents can ask teachers personally about the progress of their children. They discuss if there are problems.
The parents are treated to refreshments. Then the stage programmes begin. It is a very proud moment for all. More so for the children who are playing some role in the programmes. The parents proudly watch their children perform on stage. The satisfied parents make our teachers happy.
This year we staged the drama ‘Dushyant-Shakuntala’ in which I played the role of Shakuntala. My parents and all others liked my performance. I won a trophy for that.
My parents kept that prize in our drawing room for every one to see. They are very proud of me.
