Willis Carrier was an American inventor. He worked hard in his life. He was a mechanical engineer who worked to control and regulate the temperature. Willis Carrier was born on 26 November, 1876 in America. By the start of the 20th century, he completed his mechanical engineering. He invented the air conditioner. It was a gift for the whole world. Today air conditioners are very important for human beings. It was his dedication towards his work which won him various prestigious awards even from Great Britain. He was the first man in the world who controlled the temperature and humidity to use it for a definite purpose.
It was he who was and is called the Father of air conditioner. He worked during his whole life and manufactured various kinds of air conditioners. A number of patents are in his name. He won awards and honours during his life and even after his death on 7 October, 1950.
